Tech Lead/Product Manager

StarPound is seeking an innovative, hands-on software professional to serve as Tech Lead/Product Manager for new product development. This is a wonderful ground-floor opportunity for the right person.

The ideal skillset will include as many of the following as possible:

  • Experience managing and co-developing with onshore and offshore resources
  • Successful track record of steering new software products to market
  • Technically proficient (hands-on) with Javascript, jQuery, SQL, Java/J2EE, PHP/Ruby/etc., widget development, standard web services
  • OO design and development experience (UML, etc)
  • VOIP/SIP experience a plus
  • Experience with browser plugin development a plus
  • An understanding and practical knowledge of social media networks and applications

Software Developers

We are currently hiring for several different software development positions.  The list below is not indicative of any one particular position, but more of an amalgum of the types of needs we have.

  • SIP/VOIP, SIP video
  • Browser plugin development (C/C++, XUL, Javascript, COM/XPCOM, etc.)
  • Basic web development skills: HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, JSON, SOAP/REST
  • Java/J2EE developers - experience with model driven development a plus

Marketing/PR/Social Media Manager

We are also seeking someone who can come in and lead our marketing, PR, and social media efforts.  The ideal candidate is someone who has significant experience with:

  • Website SEO
  • Google Adwords management
  • Social media tools, such as blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
